Porcia

Porcia (d. 42 BC) was a Roman woman, the daughter of Cato of Utica; and the wife of Bibulus, then of Brutus. She committed suicide after battle of Philippi, reputedly by swallowing live coals. She was introduced (under the spelling Portia) by Shakespeare in Julius Caesar.
