Origanlly designed as a race car for Le Mans but due to a change in regulations it was scrapped. Until, in 2000 it was shown off to the world. It was decided that it would become a production car.

It has a 5.7 litre 612bhp V10. It will do 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds and keep going until it reaches 205mph! This performance is not suprising given its sparse weight of 1,380 kg. It will cost Stg�225,000 or �461,058!Its tansmission was meant to be a Formula 1 style paddleshift gearbox but it couldn't happen due to the lack of time Porsche had.

Its rivals are the Ferrari Enzo and the Mercedes MacLaren SLR. It had a limited production run and not suprisingly all are sold out.
