She had a brief membership in the X-Men before co-founding the British superhero team Excalibur, and remained with that team until an incident in which she was lost in time. She emerged a thousand years in the future, in a world conquered by Apocalypse. She gathered together a group of rebels and founded the Askani, where she raised her "brother" Nathan, who had also been sent forwards in time, until she died of trauma and old age.
