River Rother (Eastern)

The River Rother is one of the longest rivers in Kent, England. Its source is Bewl Water, and its mouth is at Rye, East Sussex on the English Channel coast. Its tributaries include the River Tillingham and the River Breade.

The river's section below Bodiam Castle is navigable, the lower stages winding through the Romney Marsh. It should not be confused with the River Rother (Western), in West Sussex.
