Ronnie VanZant

Ronnie VanZant was born January 15th, 1948, in Jacksonville, Florida. He is most well known as the lead singer, and writer for the Classic rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd.

He died on October 20th, 1977 during a tour when the band's jet ran out of fuel over a Mississippi swamp and crashed.
