The village of Rosenallis is located in the north of County Laois in the Republic of Ireland. It is situated in the foothills of the Slieve Bloom mountains on the Mountmellick to Birr road. The name comes from the old Irish 'Ros Fionn Glaise' translated as 'Wood of the clear stream'.
