Rudolf II Habsburg was an emperor of the Holy Roman Empire.

He was born in Vienna on 18 July 1552 and died in Prague on 20 January 1612. His father was Maximilian II, HRR emperor, king of Bohemia, king of Hungary and his mother was Maria, a daughter of Charles V.
