Sampaloc district in Manila City is a middle-class residential area, where the oldest University of Santo Tomas (UST)in Espaņa Avenue, the roast pigs (lechons) restaurants, the famous Dangwa 24-hours flower market in Dimasalang Street and the popular Windsor Inn at Maceda Street are located. Windsor Inn is an affordable inn open 24 hours, near the 7-11 outlet at Dimasalang Street. Sampaloc is a lively area. The Dangwa flower market is famous as the place where cutflowers from all over the Philippines are delivered to.
