Science fiction erotica

Science fiction erotica is a small subgenre of science fiction that combines stories and/or visual imagery of a science fictional theme with associated sexual imagery and/or language, for the purpose of sexual arousal. It is frequently associated with Lesbian science fiction or S/M (Sado/Masochism) Erotica.

Barbarella can be regarded as a film in this genre.
