The Seattle Weekly is the third-most-popular newspaper in Seattle, Washington, United States, with a circulation of over 110,000. It was founded by Darrell Oldham and David Brewster as The Weekly, and its first issue came out on March 31, 1976. Owned by Stern Publishing, which also owns the Village Voice, since April 1997, it is distributed to readers free of charge each Thursday.
