Sihanoukville (Khmer: Preah Seihanu), is a port city in southern Cambodia on the Gulf of Thailand. The city is an important deep water port for Cambodia and is also becoming a tourist location. The city is named for King Norodom Sihanouk. The city was also known as Kampong Saong. Sihanoukville is also the name of the province.
