Stalingrad is the name given to the Russian city now called Volgograd between 1925 and 1961. It was so named in honour of Soviet leader Joseph Stalin.

This version of the city's name is also used in a number of related contexts:

• Stalingrad (movie), a German film, set during the battle.
• Stalingrad is also the name of a metro station in Paris, France.
