Strict liability is an attribute of some crimes. Crimes which require no mens rea are considered to be of strict liability. These are offenses in which to do anything wrong is considered blameworthy, regardless of intent. Many traffic offenses are strict liability crimes. Statutory rape is also often considered to be a crime of strict liability.
