Sun Ce

Sun Ce 孫策 (伯符) was a master of the tonfa. Belonging to the Kingdom of Wu during the Three Kingdoms period in China. He was known to be a great military leader, but incredibly brash and stubborn.

His father Sun Jian was killed when Sun Ce was only a young man (17). Afterwards he served Yuan Shu for 2 years before borrowing troops and invading YangZhou. Yuan Shu once quoted "If I could have a son as Gentleman Sun, then there would be no regrets in death!" On his campaign into YanZhou with the help of his good friend Zhou Yu and his fathers former offices he captured many key cities such as Lu Jiang, Wu Jun, and Hui Ji. One minor city he captured was Mo Ling. His brother Sun Quan would later build the city up into Jian Ye, the capitol of th Wu Kingdom.

Sun Ce married Da Qiao while his friend Zhou Yu married her sister Xiao Qiao. He was father of one daughter, who would be married to Lu Xun

Sun Ce was mortally wounded by the son and retainers of Xu Gong, the former general in charge of Wu Jun whom Sun Ce had killed because of letter by Xu Gongs hand that Sun Ce found to be treasonous. His wounds were not healed properly, and he had several fits. He was suceeded by his brother Sun Quan.
