Taco Ockerse

Taco Ockerse was born to a Dutch couple in Jakarta, Indonesia, on July 21, 1955. "Puttin' On The Ritz" was recorded in Germany in 1981, which made him famous instantly early the next year (US Billboard chart #3).

His releases include "After Eight" in 1982, "Let's Face The Music" in 1984, "Swing Classics / In The Mood Of Glenn Miller" in 1985, "Tell Me That You Like It" in 1986. A change in directions has had him turn more towards soul music in recent years. He has collaborated with Geff Harrison of Kin Ping Meh fame.
