Tahquitz is a climbing area 2.5 hours east of Los Angeles. It is a difficult multi-pitch climbs on great rock on the way up Mount San Jacinto. Tahquitz has a tough approach hike leading to a roughly 400 foot face. The downclimb is dangerous, especially at night.
