Ted is a low-cost airline operating in the United States, a subsidiary of United Airlines. The name comes from the last three letters in the United brand name.

Its creation was announced November 12, 2003. It will be equipped with Airbus A320 aircraft. Service is to begin on February 12, 2004 and will be based at Denver International Airport. There will be no airport lounge. [1] Like its parent, Ted will be part of the Star Alliance.
