The Comedy Store
The Comedy Store is a comedy club located on the Sunset Strip, in Los Angeles, California. It was opened in April of 1972 by comedians Sammy Shore and Rudy DeLuca. Famous Comedy Store alumni include Whoopi Goldberg, Roseanne Barr, Eddie Murphy, Eddie Griffin, Richard Pryor, Jim Carrey, and Dave Letterman.
There is also a Comedy Store club in London, England, which was named after the Los Angeles club.
