Townlet (p.g.t.)

Townlet is an attempt to translate the Russian term посёлок городско́го ти́па (abbreviated as п.г.т.) — which literally means ‘urban-type settlement’. They are intermediate in status between towns and villages. Usually they are centered around a single industrial plant.
