Triplet

A triplet can be:

• one of three babies in a multiple birth
• in music, a set of notes with a duration two-thirds (2/3) their regular duration, marked with a "3".
• in quantum mechanics, a quantum state of a system with a spin of 1, such that there are three allowed values of the spin component, -1, 0, and 1.
