Trollhättan is a Municipality in Västra Götaland County, in western Sweden. The municipality covers an area of 411.5 km². Of the total population of 52891, 26726 are male, and 26165 are female. The population density of the community is 129 inhabitants per km².
Trollhättan houses the main site for production of Saab automobiles and Volvo Aero. There is also production facilities called Trollywood for the film industry and movies which have been shot there include Fucking Åmål and Dancer in the dark.
