University of Bristol Union

The University of Bristol Union is the students' union of Bristol University. It is among the oldest of the UK student unions and was a founding member of the NUS (which it left in 2004).

Former union presidents have included broadcaster Sue Lawley, St Lucia's foreign minister and ambassador to the United Nations George W. Odlum, and MP Lembit Öpik.

The union is also host to the Anson Rooms a popular venue for live music in the south-west of England.
