University of Southern Indiana
The University of Southern Indiana (USI) is one of the two 4-year universities in Evansville, Indiana. This publicly-funded institution is becoming more popular year by year in its region. The University's advantage is its low tuition. In the 2002-2003 education year, 9,500 students were registered at USI.
The school was originally a branch campus of Indiana State University, but is now independent of ISU.
