Yugoloth

Yugoloths are a fictional species of evil creatures from the Outer Planes in the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game. Yugoloths were called daemons in Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (AD&D), First Edition; in the Planescape product line for AD&D Second Edition, they were renamed to 'yugoloths'. Yugoloths, like other fiendish netherworldly creatures in Dungeons & Dragons, are divided into many sub-races, such as the marraeoloths (or Charonodaemons, from Charon) who travel the River Styx; the scheming, inhuman ultroloths; and the sage, hyena-headed arcanaloths.
