A Canadian politician, Godin is currently a member of the New Democratic Party in the Canadian House of Commons, representing the riding of Acadie--Bathurst since 1997. Godin is a former labour representitive. He is the current whip of the NDP, and is the NDP critic of Official Languages, Small Business, Fracophonie, Intergovernmental Affiars, and Parliamentary affairs, and has also been the NDP critic of Employment Insurance, Human Resources Development, Natural Resources, and Training.
