Zamora (province)

Zamora is a province of western Spain, in the western part of the autonomous community of Castile-Leon.

It is bordered by the provinces of Orense, León, Valladolid, and Salamanca, and by Portugal.

Of the 200,678 people (2002) in the province, nearly a third live in the capital, Zamora. See List of municipalities in Zamora.
